hollywood forever cemetery
on sunday night, eric, camron, gary, sabien, & i walked to the cemetery for their movie night. it was "ferris bueller's day off" a tribute night to john hughes (the writer-director who recently died) and they had some of the film's actors there to introduce it and tell some little stories from making it. the cemetery allows people to bring chairs and picnic blankets/baskets, drinks or whatever food you want and then everyone spreads out on the grass and once it gets dark they start the show. some people even brought candles, it was cool. probably 3000 people were there this time-super crowded-every inch of grass was taken up plus people were sitting on the cement paths surrounding the lawn.
cell phone pic of cam & me.
happy labor day!
camron made a great salad: spinach, dried cherries, dried blueberries, pistachios & vinaigrette.Thursday, September 3, 2009
